Beautifully crafted in OPALSTONE by 3rd Generation SHONA artist, MUNYARADZI JECHE.
Born in 1976 in Zimbabwe, Munyaradzi grew up in the rural town of Chivyu. In 1995 he started his apprenticeship in sculpting with Nicholas Mukumberanwa and two years later, deciding he needed more experience, was tutored by Albert Nathan Mamvura. He moved to Chitungwiza Art Community in 1998 and still works there today.
His beautiful sculptures are held in high regard and his work is exhibited in galleries in Canada, America, South Africa , Germany and Great Britain.
OPALSTONE is favoured by sculptors for it's subtle colours and dense texture. It comes in soft hues of varying colours and can be polished to a high shine.

Each sculpture is wrapped in bubble wrap and held in place within a triple walled cardboard box with expanding foam, ensuring it does not move during transit.
