This stunning fish is created from a single piece of AGATE.
AGATE is the result of volcanic activity. A beautifully dense stone with lovely flowing markings. The colours are gorgeous throughout and part of the fish, on one side, has been left as raw stone. A wonderful reminder of the stones original state.
The stunning markings in AGATE appear fluid and this is because the stone comes about as a direct result of volcanic activity. Agate is a banded form of finely-grained, microcrystalline Quartz. The lovely colour patterns and banding make this translucent gemstone very unique. Agates can have many distinctive styles and patterns, but each Agate is unique in its own habit, with no two Agates being the same.
Would look fabulous in any home or garden setting and sure to be envied by all lucky enough to see it.
