This attractive little sculpture of a kissing couple, has beautiful markings and is sculpted from a single piece of COBALT by 3rd Generation SHONA artist, TENDAI GWARAVAZA.
Some interesting facts about COBALT:
COBALT was named after mythical, death-dealing goblins.
It is a componenet of B12, needed in humans for the production of red blood cells.
It is found in fish, red meat, figs, leafy green vegetables, cereals (oats) and nuts.
It has been used as a dye for over 2,600 years.
First discovered in 1735.
